What We Believe

Vulnerability = Humanness

It’s not easy, but it’s the doorway to connection.

Not all therapy is created equal. We combine evidence-based modalities with fierce emotional presence.

Support should be real and skillful

You don’t have to do it alone

Healing happens in safe, nonjudgmental spaces—with people who meet you exactly where you are.

Meet Audrey

Audrey Roach-Slivinski, MSW, LCSW | Founder & Clinical Director

With over 19 years of experience across the country—from New York to Wyoming, Oregon to Florida—Audrey Roach-Slivinski brings deep clinical expertise and a deeply human touch to her work with teens, adults, and families. She founded Beaches Therapy to create the kind of space she believes everyone deserves: one where people feel seen, heard, and supported with tools that truly work.

Audrey holds a Master’s in Social Work from NYU and a postgraduate certificate in Clinical Social Work from Yale Medical School’s Child Study Center. She’s been intensively trained by the leading minds in DBT, including Marsha Linehan, Charles Swenson, and Alan Fruzzetti, and continues to expand her skill set through certifications in:

  • DBT, DBT-PE, DBT-C

  • EMDR & Trauma-Focused CBT

  • SPACE (Supportive Parenting for Anxious Childhood Emotions)

  • ERP (Exposure and Response Prevention)

  • ACT, CBT, Mindfulness & Coercive Control Trauma-Informed Care

  • Forensic Services: Custody Evaluations, Parenting Coordination, Expert Witness testimony

Her approach is strengths-based, evidence-driven, and radically client-centered. She works with families navigating high-conflict divorce, trauma, parenting challenges, and everything in between—with a deep belief that vulnerability isn’t weakness—it’s the beginning of real change. She helps people drop the shame, find their voice, and build a life worth living.

Our Clinical Team

Courtney Robinson, LMHC

Licensed Mental Health Counselor

Courtney brings over a decade of experience working with adults, teens, and youth in crisis. She specializes in anxiety, OCD, trauma, substance use, and helping clients break free from emotional patterns that no longer serve them. Her approach blends DBT, CBT, ERP, and Motivational Interviewing to help clients feel stronger, steadier, and more in control.

Katherine Hutchinson, PMSW, RCSWI

Child Welfare Specialist

Katherine Hutchinson is a therapist who meets families where they are—with empathy, clarity, and a steady belief that change is possible. Before earning her Master’s in Clinical Social Work, she worked in child welfare, supporting families through adoption, parenting education, and case management. Those years taught her that healing begins when people feel safe and understood.

She is certified in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Complex Trauma, and EMDR, and is trained in Parenting Coordination and High-Conflict Couples Work.

Katherine helps teens and families strengthen communication, rebuild trust, and find calm in the middle of chaos. Her approach is compassionate and collaborative, guided by the reminder she often shares:

“You are the captain of your ship. I’m here to help you steer toward calmer waters.”
