Parenting with DBT Skills Workshop

Parenting is a constant practice of repair, understanding and connection.

Parenting with DBT Skills Workshop

This 8-week online workshop gives parents and caregivers real, usable tools for navigating conflict, co-regulation, emotional overload, and behavior challenges at home. You’ll walk away with clarity, not confusion, and feel more grounded, calm, and equipped to show up for your child.

Rooted in the evidence-based parent and family work of Dr. Alan Fruzzetti and DBT-C (Dialectical Behavior Therapy for Children) developed by Dr. Francheska Perepletchikova, this group combines research-backed strategies with compassionate guidance. Parents learn how to better understand their child’s emotional world and how to respond with skill, empathy, and intention.

What You’ll Learn:

  • How to create a “Change-Ready Environment” in your home

  • Why your child’s emotional reactions make sense and how to respond without losing it

  • How to co-regulate during meltdowns or shutdowns

  • Communication tools that build connection instead of chaos

  • How to coach your child through their hardest moments with less reactivity and more skill
