- tolerate those distressing moments more skillfully
- regulate their emotions = having less highs and lows
- get along with family and friends better
- have more fulfilling relationships all around
- zoom out and check the facts (our favorite skill)
- reduce self harming behaviors, there a lot of them
- increase positive coping skills
- create a life worth living and loving!
